By registering to attend this event, Delegates are entering an agreement with Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG).
Eligibility Delegates must be at least 18 years old and are authorized to accept these terms.
Payment: All payments must be made in USD, unless otherwise stated.
Cancellations All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable. Passes can be transferred to another delegate or a future event (paid for tickets only). Please note that approvals of transfer must be confirmed in writing from Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG).
Delegates are responsible for cancellation of travel and hotel reservations if Delegates do not attend the event.
Should the event be postponed, Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG) shall provide Delegates with substitute passes for the rescheduled event.
Visas & Travel Authorization. Delegates are responsible for arranging appropriate travel authorizations to travel to, and gain entry into, the country where the event is taking place. Delegates are responsible for all costs associated with obtaining such authorisations.
Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG) will not compensate or refund the cost of the event ticket should Delegates not be able to attend the event due to lack of necessary travel authorisations.
Recording. Delegates consent to Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG) or its partners recording Delegates by any means including electronic recording, film, videotape, audio tape, and photography without compensation of any kind. Delegates agree that Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG) shall be the copyright owner of these recordings. If any delegate wishes to be removed they must do so in writing.
Delegates also understand that third parties attending the event may also capture delegates' images which could be used for promotional purposes, beyond the control and or liability of Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG).
Anti-Harassment Conference Code of Conduct Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, social media platforms and other online media. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference at the discretion of the conference organisers.
Force Majeure In any circumstances beyond the control of Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG) that prevents it from carrying out its obligations, including but not limited to acts of God, war, acts of terrorism, disease or pandemic (which includes Ebola and COVID strains), virus propagation, airline flight cancellations, strikes, lock-outs, floods, and failure of third parties to deliver goods or services, Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG) will be relieved of its obligations and liabilities for as long as fulfilment is prevented, or performance becomes impossible.
Should the event be postponed or moved, Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG) shall provide Delegates with passes for the rescheduled event or offer a full refund.
Privacy and Data Protection Africa Network Operators Group (AfNOG) takes the security of delegates' information seriously and we take all reasonable steps to protect delegates' personal information.
We will never sell delegates' personal data, nor disclose it to third parties outside of Africa Internet Summit 2024 (AIS'24).
